Debut @ the NAMM show January 2025.  The NEW Schilke Flugel 1042 FL in lacquer.
It was the pick of the litter at the Schilke booth / NAMM show.
It’s on the left of the 3 flugelhorns in the picture below.  Andrew Nauman hand made the bell.
Comes with Case / Leadpipe (Small and Large Shank)
Great dark sound with clarity and articulate in tone production.

The 1042 FLB is the newest addition to the Schilke Flugelhorn Series. It features a yellow brass bell that provides the admirable intonation and response found on the 1040 FL and 1041 FLC,  but with slightly more brightness and tonal consistency in sound from low to high. This instrument will prove to be a versatile option for a wide variety of settings from brass band and chamber music to the jazz enthusiast.
