Chicago Benge S/n 2184 Circa 1946  From the Chicago Benge Era (1935-1953). This horn is 78 years old and plays as new! Video coming soon………

Masterfully restored by Charlie Melk.

The bell and lead-pipe was replaced with one obtained from the Conn factory. ( They are the current owner of the Benge design and have access to the Benge Lead-pipe and Bell Mandrels)

Work performed By Charlies Brass

  • Refinish lacquer, including repair dents, scratches, and pitting,
  • Install new Bell and lead-pipe, solder loose joints, refit slides,
  • Replace waterkey cork, and springs,
  • Rebuild 3 Valves (Complete Piston Refit)
  • Align valves, and new springs
  • New Benge Receiver
  • Custom engraving
