Purchased new in 1974 with expectations of being a Trumpet major in College. Things didn’t go the way planned and the horn, sadly, went the way of ‘Puff the magic dragon. This is a rare all original version of the King Silver Flair professional model. This horn is the hard to find professional model with mouthpiece receiver engraved with the words ‘King Silver Flair.’ Excellent playing condition! It’s in almost perfect condition (see photos) with only a few small flaws.  Evidence of redraft in the lead pipe but with proper maintenance it will never cause a problem, and probably out live you. Normal wear for a 50+ year old instrument.
The trumpet has been only lightly used since sonic cleaning and polishing/lubrication have been completed. This Horn has been meticulously maintained. Silver plate is 100%. Horn is an all original collector’s item. Made by King in Eastlake, OH in the mid 70’s. All serial numbers match, silver plated brass with nickel inner slide tubes. 1st valve trigger design is one of the best ever made. Trigger doesn’t hit your thumb and the slide can be easily removed from the trigger. This is an incredibly playing trumpet. It is extremely responsive with an open blow and slots. An excellent all around or lead instrument. Professionally ultrasonically cleaned as needed. Horn is ready to play!
